Dear Murata Eyecare Patients,

Welcome to the new normal at Murata Eyecare. We look forward to catering to all your vision needs and at the same time keeping safety a top priority. We will be opening our appointment book FRIDAY, MAY 15.

Here are the highlights of the new normal:

  1. CALL first before coming to the door. Wait in your car. We will call you when someone will meet to escort you in.
  2. We will perform as much as possible over the phone while you are in the car.
  3. Only persons with appointments, guardians or caregivers will be allowed entry. Guests/drivers are to wait in the car.
  4. Face masks are required to enter our office. No exceptions. Please bring one of your own.
  5. COVID-19 screening and temperature will be performed before entering the office.
  6. Check in questions will occur over the phone before entering the office to enhance socially distancing.
  7. We request using hand sanitizer when entering the office.
  8. Virtual interaction will be used by staff and Doctor when possible.
  9. We require you ask for assistance when looking at frames.

All areas that you have entered will be sanitized immediately after exiting.

Doctor Karlyn Murata will be seeing patients in our office. The office will be limited to only one doctor and a smaller staff to respect social distancing until further notice. Once we begin to stage/add-in more routine services, we will have more doctors scheduled and it may be a shorter wait.

Our office hours will be changed slightly during his transition time. We will be open Monday-Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.  We are suspending Saturday hours for now, but they may be added back at another time.

We look forward to seeing all of you back as soon as possible. Please be aware that initially there may be a higher volume of patient inquiries by phone, we will return calls as soon as we can.
